| Description |
A rutile coated hardfacing electrode depositing a Cr - Mo - V air hardening alloy of 650 VPN hardness. The electrode has very controlled molten slag- metal weld pool, which enables it to work in positions very easily. The bead appearance is even and fine rippled and the slag is easily detachable. The weld deposit is having very good abrasion resistance and moderate impact resistance. The weld is non machinable with normal tools. |
| Application |
Mixer blades scrapper blades, screw conveyors, agriculture components, muller tyres, dippers, excavator teeth, backet lips, metal cutting and forming tools, punches, dies, drill bits, shears, choppers, cane cutting knives etc. For use over carbon- manganese steel or low alloy steels, buffer layer with Classic LH- 7016 is recommended. For surfacing on austenitic manganese steels, buffer layer with Classic SS - Mn or Classic Mn Special is recommended. |
