CLASSIC HF-250
Description: A rutile coated electrode-depositing air hardening type weld metal of approx. 250 VPN hardness (machinable). The electrode is having excellent operating characteristic like smooth and steady arc, easy striking and restriking, superior bead finish and easy slag detachability.
Principal Application: Surfacing and repairing of gears, shafts, hammers, pulley, coupling, spindles, axles, pinion teeth etc. Also suitable for buffer layer prior to hard facing with Classic HF-650 or Classic HF-B650.
Typical Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: 230-280 VPN (3rd layer)

CLASSIC HF-350
Description: A rutile coated electrode-depositing air hardening type weld metal of approx. 350 VPN hardness. Superior bead finish and easy slag detachability. The weld deposit is machinable with normal tools. Weld metal has good abrasion and impact resistance.
Principal Application: Surfacing and repairing of rollers, tractor sprockets, concrete mixer blades, brake shoe, crane wheels, wobbles, equalizers beams spindles, axles etc. Also suitable for buffer layer prior to hardening with Classic HF-650 or Classic HF-8650.

Hardness: 320-380 VPN (3rd layer)

CLASSIC HF-350S
Description: A specially formulated heavy coated electrode-depositing air hardening type weld metal or approx. 350 hardness. The electrode is having excellent operating characteristics. Steady arc, easy stricking and easy slag detachability. The electrode can be used at positions. Weld is machinable with normal tools. Metal has good wear and excellent impact resistance.
Principal Application: Hard surfacing and repairing of rollers, idlers, tractor sprockets, concrete mixer blades, brake shoe, crane wheels, wobbles, equalizers beams spindles, axles etc. Also suitable for buffer layer prior to hardening with Classic HF-650 or Classic HF-B650.

CLASSIC HF-450

CLASSIC HF-B550
Description: A basic coated hydrogen controlled hard-facing electrode depositing air hardening alloy of 550 VPN hardness and on high carbon and sulphur steels with minimum possibility of under bead cracking and porosity. Weld deposit is having good abrasion and impact resistance. Weld is non-machinable with common tools.
Principal Application: Oil expeller worms, mixer blades, stone crusher jaws, Muller tyres, screw conveyors, cement die rings, punching dies, crane wheels, bamboo chipper, knives, paper cutting, sheer blades, disintegrator hammers, crusher hammer etc
Typical Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: 500-600 VPN

CLASSIC HF-B600
Description: A hydrogen controlled, hard-facing electrode with superior resistance to abrasion and metal-to-metal friction wear. The weld metal is highly suitable to resist scratching and grinding abrasion. Controlled molten slag metal weld pool and easy slag detachability.
Principal Application: Reclamation of Oil expellers, mixer blades, stone crusher, Muller tyres, screw conveyors, cement die rings, dippers, scrapper blades, excavator teeth, concrete mixer blades, plough shares etc

Hardness: 570-630 VPN

CLASSIC HF-650
Description: A rutile coating hard facing electrode depositing a Cr-Mo-V, air hardening alloy. The electrode displays good positional welding. The weld deposit is having very good abrasion resistance and moderate impact resistance.
Principal Application: Mixer blades, stone crusher, Muller tyres, screw conveyors, cement die rings, dippers, scrapper blades, excavator teeth, concrete mixer blades, plough shares, dies, drill bits, shears, backet lips, metal cutting and forming tools, choppers, cane cutting knives, agriculture components etc. For use over carbon-manganese steel or low alloy steels, buffer layer with Classic Lh-7016 is recommended. For surfacing on austenitic manganese steels, buffer layer with Classic SS-Mn or Classic Mn special is recommended.

CLASSIC HF-B650
Description: A hydrogen controlled hard facing electrode depositing air hardening Cr-Mo-V based alloy of 650 VPN hardness. Low hydrogen coating makes the electrode usable in high carbon and high sulphur steels with the minimum possibility of under bead cracking and porosity. The weld deposit is having very good abrasion resistance and moderate impact resistance.

Description: A basic medium-heavy coated hard facing electrode is having very good operating characteristic like controlled molten slag-metal weld pool, easy positional welding capability and good slag detachability. Weld metal is to be specially resistant to scratching abrasion.
Principal Application: Oil expeller worms, screw conveyors, cement die rings, concrete mixer blades, scrapper blades etc.

CLASSIC MANGAN
Description: A basic coated work hardening type electrode for application on austenitic manganese steel. The electrode has smooth operating characteristic like stable arc and the weld bead is smooth and even the slag is easily detachable.
Principal Application: Stone crusher jaws, Mn steel rails, dredger bucket teeth, cement grider rings, earth moving equipment, muller tyres, hammers, crusher mantles etc. Can be used as buffer layeron manganese steel prior to surfacing with Classic HF-650 or Classic HF-B650.
