Mild Steel Electrodes

Classification: AWS., A5.1:E6012

Description: Light Coated, All position, electrode for welding of structures under static loading to moderate dynamic conditions. The electrode shoes balanced arc, ensures good penetration under any condition. Slag is quick freezing and easy to control. Electrode is highly tolerant to rusty plates and poor fit-ups.

Principal Application: Light-structural work, storage tank, coaches and wagons, truck bodies & general repair and maintenance work (sugar plant machineries, foundry equipment etc.)

Description: A medium coated rutile base all position, general purpose electrode operates even at low OCV, smooth and pleasant arc with low smoke and self lifting slag.

Principal Application: Steel structures, tanks, agricultural implements, truck & bus bodies, sheet metal works, steel furniture, buildings pipes, construction work etc.

CLASSIC 6013 EXCEL AWS., A5.1 : E6013

Description: A rutile based heavy coated electrode with excellent operating characteristics. The superior control on molten slag – metal pool enables the electrodes to work at high welding speed. The electrode can be manipulated easily in positions. The striking and restriking is very easy and slag detachability is very good. The weld deposit is having high radiographic soundness. The bead finish is very smooth and shiny.

Principal Application: Heavy-structure boilers, sheet metal work, automobiles, locomotive, pressure vessels, bolting stock and repair work etc.
